Craftsmanship

Something I always wanted to do was renovate my own home. Step one, get a home... Check! Step two, start renovating. I always had the idea of messing around with wood, possibly make my own furniture. Maybe I've been watching too much HGTV?

The combination of watching my dad work in carpentry, along with doing all the handyman work around the house gave me the desire. Also, I always knew the chances of me finding a home exactly the way I wanted (including being affordable) would be slim. So let the renovating begin.

One of the funner projects was building a light fixture for the dining room. The cost was very minimal, less than $100. The most expensive parts were the LED vintage bulbs that came out to about $60. The rest you can get online, Home Depot, or Lowes. Here are a few pictures.
